Every year, Gen-i takes to the road to share the latest in ICT with its corporate clients, in 12 different locations across New Zealand.
This year’s theme is all about fibre and the untapped possibilities it offers New Zealand organisations to increase productivity, deliver flexibility and robustness and cut costs.
The Gen-i ICT Conference kicked off last week in Palmerston North and Wellington, and travelled to New Plymouth, Napier and Tauranga this week. Following this week the conference will be taking place in Auckland, Hamilton, Whangarei, Nelson, Christchurch, Dunedin and Invercargill.
The conference outlines the opportunities fibre presents when combined with technology and trends like virtualisation, cloud computing, smartphones and tablets, BYO device and HD video conferencing.
It aims to send attendees away with a fresh perspective on how ICT can support their business, and practical inspiration from our technology partners – Chorus, UltraFast Fibre, Enable, Huawei, Cisco, HP, Microsoft, Motorola, Nokia, TrendMicro, HP – who are demonstrating their latest offerings.
