What do an egg beater and hedge-trimmer made from bicycle parts have in common?
They were both invented in Invercargill by prolific innovator Ernest Godward.
Despite making a fortune from the invention of the spiral hairpin, Godward continued his new thinking to produce inventions that still benefit business around the world.
It is in the spirit of this dedication and tenacity that Gen-i supported the New Thinking Award at the 2012 World Class New Zealand Awards - a New Zealand Trade & Enterprise initiative, delivered by Kea New Zealand.
This year the award was presented to Tony Falkenstein, Chief Executive at Just Water International.
