ReadyCloud Server upgraded for self-service

Last week we updated ReadyCloud Server adding a powerful new self-service portal. It gives you the tools to remotely manage and configure your own virtual infrastructure.

Now you can jump online and design or configure new virtual machines as and when you need them. Adding a new file server or a virtual machine to run your company-wide ERP system is as simple as answering a few questions.

It means you can treat computing power as a utility. If your company is growing, adding more capacity takes seconds. The changes take place immediately and you can start using it straight away.

Using our new ReadyCloud Server is straightforward. In fact, it’s so straightforward, you don’t need to be a tech specialist to do it. You can even cut and paste a new virtual machine. Security is another benefit of the ReadyCloud approach. We’re using our tier 3 data centre to host the service at Telecom’s Auckland Exchange building. It’s one of the most resilient, reliable and secure data centres in New Zealand.

We’ve already had positive feedback on the changes from clients who tested the new version ahead of the launch. And although it’s only days since the launch, we’ve already seen a jump in new business.
